Venue Rental

Weddings. Performances. Meetings. Outdoor Space.

Brookside offers multiple function, event and performance spaces, as well as vast outdoor grounds that are available for use. Capacities range from 15 to 600 people, and can be used for meetings, lectures, receptions, conferences, concerts and other occasions. Our location in proximity to Downtown Manchester, New Hampshire in the city’s historic North End neighborhood, at the far end of Elm Street provides easy access to nearby hotels and restaurants. A usage fee is integrated into our pricing structure, which includes setup, teardown, custodial staff, and church office support. WiFi is available throughout the building. 

 

Many organizations meet at Brookside including support groups for addiction,  The Compassionate Friends, a support group for those grieving loss. and the  Parish Nursing Program offered through Catholic Medical Center, local Girl Scout troops, and the North Soccer League. The Saint John of Suceava Orthodox Church and Full Gospel Bible Church worship regularly in our chapel. Brookside Congregational Church also hosts events, including the annual Empty Bowls fundraiser in partnership with Families in Transition/New Horizons of New Hampshire.

Brookside Congregational Church, United Church of Christ offers the following amenities for weddings and other events within our community and stewardship guidelines. Contact us for more details on how we can accommodate your needs. 

Event Guidelines
  • Certificate of Insurance required with a minimum of $1,000,000 liability coverage; Or choose from our list of preferred caterers 

  • Venue must approve all decorations 

  • No rice, birdseed, confetti, etc. 

  • Smoking outside only in designated area 

  • Event must end by 10:00 PM 

  • Be respectful of surrounding residential neighbors 

 

Groups using our venue are expected to make separate arrangements for services such as wedding or event host and catering as needed. Recommended vendor partner list available upon request. Table linens, dinnerware, flatware and glassware are not provided. 

Brookside Winter Parking Pass 

Brookside Church has parking available during winter weather emergencies as well as other times of the year. Our parking lot is located off of North Elm Street, and near Manchester City Bus routes for easy travel into downtown and surrounding neighborhoods. A limited number of spots are available to reserve in advance.
